# Credibly Term Loans

> Send a business term-loan application to Credibly from the same Submit you already use.

Credibly is a business lender. With the **Credibly term loans** Labs card turned on, the
term-loan Submit dialog gains one extra choice: send the application to the offer marketplace
as usual, or send it to Credibly instead.

<Info>This is a Labs feature. It is visible to every account and off by default. Turn it on under **Settings → Labs**, or ask your agency admin to turn it on for you. Until the Credibly connection is live, turning the card on changes nothing: the Credibly choice does not appear and every Submit keeps going to the offer marketplace.</Info>

## What changes when the card is on

Open a client, choose **Generate Offers**, and fill in the application as you always have. A
**Send To** choice appears under Submission Method:

* **Offer marketplace** — today's flow. Personal term-loan offers come back and you share them
  with your client.
* **Credibly** — files a business term-loan application with Credibly. Nothing is sent to the
  marketplace.

If the Idea Financial card is also on, it appears in the same list. Pick one. Each Submit goes
to exactly one destination.

## What Credibly receives

* The owner details from the form: name, email, phone, date of birth, SSN, home address, and
  the requested amount.
* Business details from the client's CRM record: **Business Name**, **EIN**, **Entity Type**,
**Business Address**, and, when they are plain values, Average Monthly Revenue and Time in
Business. Choosing Credibly adds a **Business details** section to the form that shows these
from the CRM record; what you fill in or change there is saved back to the record when you
submit, and a field the account does not have yet is added to its CRM custom fields.
* The client's most recent credit score, when a report is on file.
* The newest **bank statements** in the client's Documents, up to four.
* A separate **signed application** from the client's Documents. A bank statement is never
  used in its place.

<Warning>Credibly requires a business name, 9-digit EIN, entity type, physical business address, at least one bank statement, and a signed application. **Business details** marks a missing business value before you submit; if anything else is missing, Submit stops with a message listing what to add. Nothing is sent until you fix it and try again.</Warning>

## After you submit

The client page shows **Application sent to Credibly** with the Credibly application number.
Application history labels the attempt **Sent to Credibly** instead of showing it as a
zero-offer marketplace attempt. Credibly works the file from there; status updates do not flow
back into this app yet. The **Generate Offers** button stays available if you also want
marketplace offers for the same client.

## If something goes wrong

The Submit dialog shows the reason in place. The message tells you which step failed and, when
Credibly rejected a field, what they said about it.

* **"Credibly is not turned on for this account"** — turn on the Labs card and try again.
* **"Credibly is not set up for this account yet"** — the connection has not been configured.
Turn the Labs card off to keep generating marketplace offers and contact support.
* **"Credibly needs the following…"** — add the listed details to the client's CRM record and
  resubmit.
* **"Credibly requires at least one bank statement…"** — upload a statement to the client's
  CRM record and resubmit.
* **"Credibly requires a verified signed application…"** — upload the signed PDF to the
client's CRM record as **Signed Application**, choose **Verify Signed Application**, confirm
  the signed date, and resubmit.

Retrying after a failure creates a new attempt. If the failure happened after Credibly had
already created the application, the earlier record may exist on their side too.

<Note>Credibly offers and status updates are not shown in this app yet. This feature covers sending the term-loan application only.</Note>
