# Custom Agreements

> Send your own agreement templates from your CRM next to the Capped and Non-Capped agreements.

**Send Agreement** offers the **Capped Agreement** and the **Non-Capped Agreement**. With the
**Custom agreements** Labs card on, it can also offer agreement templates you built in your CRM,
such as *Smith Consulting Agreement (Capped)*.

> [!NOTE]
>
> This is a Labs feature. It is visible to every account and off by default. Turn it on under **Settings → Labs**, or ask your agency admin to turn it on for you.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Files signed on your own agreement can't be submitted to Processing. Send the Capped or Non-Capped agreement for any file you want the processing team to work.

## Add an agreement

1. Create the agreement template in your CRM.
2. Open **Settings → Agreements**. Your CRM templates are listed there, apart from the Capped
   and Non-Capped agreements.
3. Mark the template **Capped** or **Non-Capped**, then choose **Add**.

You can add up to 20 agreements. Changing an added agreement between Capped and Non-Capped saves
right away. Only an account admin or an agency user can add, change, or remove agreements.

Your agreements show up in Send Agreement while **New agreements setup** is on in Labs.

## Send it

In **Send Agreement**, open **Agreement Type** and choose your agreement. Its name is followed by
the type you marked it as.

* A **Capped** agreement asks for the agreement rate and the capped amount, like the Capped
  Agreement.
* A **Non-Capped** agreement asks for the agreement rate only, like the Non-Capped Agreement.

The rate and capped amount are saved to the Contact's **Agreement Rate** and **Agreement Cap**
fields before the agreement is sent, so use those fields in your template. Other fields the
sender fills in the CRM are left blank.

The agreement shows on the Contact's file with a **Your agreement** badge.

## Submit to Processing

A file whose agreement is one of yours is blocked from **Submit to Processing**, and the checklist
says why. To submit the file, send the Capped or Non-Capped agreement and have it signed, or choose
a signed Capped or Non-Capped agreement for the file.

The block stays with the agreement. Removing it from Settings → Agreements, deleting the template
in your CRM, or turning the Labs card off does not make a file signed on it eligible.

## Remove an agreement

Choose **Remove** next to it in **Settings → Agreements**. It leaves Send Agreement right away.
Agreements already sent with it stay on their files as they are.

An agreement you deleted or renamed to a Capped or Non-Capped agreement in your CRM stops showing
in Send Agreement, and is never sent as your Capped or Non-Capped agreement. It stays in
Settings → Agreements, marked **No longer in your CRM**, until you remove it.

## Turning it off

Turn the Labs card off to hide your agreements from Send Agreement and to hide
Settings → Agreements. The agreements you added are kept for when you turn it back on, and
agreements already sent stay as they are.
