# 1West Term Loans

> Send a business funding package to 1West's lender marketplace from the same Submit you already use.

1West runs a marketplace of business lenders. With the **1West term loans** Labs card turned
on, the term-loan Submit dialog gains one extra choice: send the application to the offer
marketplace as usual, or send it to 1West as a complete funding package instead.

<Info>This is a Labs feature. It is visible to every account and off by default. Turn it on under **Settings → Labs**, or ask your agency admin to turn it on for you.</Info>

## What changes when the card is on

Open a client, choose **Generate Offers**, and fill in the application as you always have. A
**Send To** choice appears under Submission Method:

* **Offer marketplace** — today's flow. Personal term-loan offers come back and you share them
  with your client.
* **1West** — files a business funding package with 1West. Nothing is sent to the marketplace.

If the Idea Financial or Credibly card is also on, they appear in the same list. Pick one. Each
Submit goes to exactly one destination.

Choosing 1West adds **Ownership Percentage** to the form, the share of the business the
applicant owns. 1West requires it for every package, and nothing else in the app holds it, so
you enter it here each time.

It also adds a **Business details** section that shows the business name, EIN, structure,
start date, monthly revenue, and business address from the client's CRM record. What you fill
in or change there is saved back to the record when you submit, and a field the account does
not have yet is added to its CRM custom fields.

## What 1West receives

* The owner details from the form: name, email, phone, date of birth, SSN, home address,
ownership percentage, the requested amount, and the loan purpose.
* Business details from the client's CRM record: **Business Name**, **EIN**, **Entity Type**,
**Business Start Date**, **Business Address**, Business Phone, and **Average Monthly
Revenue** (sent to 1West as annual revenue, monthly × 12).
* The client's most recent credit score band, when a report is on file.
* The **three newest bank statements** in the client's Documents, labeled newest to oldest as
  1West requires.
* A **signed application** from the client's Documents, when one is on file. It is not
required: if 1West refuses that file, the handoff still succeeds on the three statements and
you can add the application in 1West's partner portal. If 1West never confirms that upload,
the attempt says so; check the deal in their portal before attaching the application again.

<Warning>1West requires a business name, 9-digit EIN, an entity type that matches one of theirs (Sole Proprietor, LLC, Corporation, LP, LLP, or General Partnership), a business start date, a dollar-amount monthly revenue (not a range), the business city, state, and ZIP code (the street is sent when the CRM record has it), and three bank statements as PDF, JPG, or PNG files of 10MB or less. **Business details** marks a missing business value before you submit; if anything else is missing, Submit stops with a message listing what to add. Nothing is sent until you fix it and try again.</Warning>

## After you submit

The client page shows **Package sent to 1West** with the 1West deal number and, when 1West
returns one, an **Applicant sign-in link**. That link lets your client sign in on 1West's side
to continue their application; share it with them if 1West asks for more from the applicant.
Application history labels the attempt **Sent to 1West** instead of showing it as a zero-offer
marketplace attempt. 1West and its lenders work the deal from there; status updates do not flow
back into this app yet. The **Generate Offers** button stays available if you also want
marketplace offers for the same client.

## If something goes wrong

The Submit dialog shows the reason in place. The message tells you which step failed and, when
1West rejected a field, what they said about it.

* **"1West is not turned on for this account"** — turn on the Labs card and try again.
* **"1West is not set up for this account yet"** — the connection has not been configured.
Turn the Labs card off to keep generating marketplace offers and contact support.
* **"1West needs the following…"** — add the listed details to the client's CRM record and
  resubmit.
* **"1West requires the three most recent monthly bank statements…"** — upload the statements
to the client's CRM record as PDF, JPG, or PNG and resubmit.
* **"One of the three most recent bank statements… is not a PDF, JPG, or PNG of 10MB or less"** —
Submit always sends the three newest statements and never swaps in an older month, so replace
the unusable file with a smaller or supported version and resubmit.
* **"1West already has a deal for this applicant"** — 1West matched the applicant to an existing
deal and created nothing new. Work the existing deal in 1West's partner portal.
* **"…it is not known whether 1West received the package"** — 1West never answered, or answered
in a way the app could not read. The deal may exist. Look the client up in 1West's partner
portal before submitting again so you do not create a second deal.

Retrying after a failure creates a new attempt. If the failure happened while uploading
statements, the deal already exists on 1West's side; the attempt keeps the deal number so you
can finish the upload in their portal. Whenever a deal exists or may exist (a kept deal number,
a duplicate answer, or no answer), the Term Loan header shows a 1West badge instead of a Retry
button and the Submit dialog repeats the warning under the 1West option. **Generate Offers**
still runs the marketplace for the same client.

<Note>1West offers and status updates are not shown in this app yet. This feature covers sending the funding package only.</Note>
