# Recommended Next Steps

> Read credit-building guidance and term-loan qualifications on the Credit File tab.

The **Credit File** tab shows recommendations for the selected report. Card funding and term loans are evaluated separately: a card decline does not necessarily close the term-loan path.

## Low Card Limits or Thin Revolving History

Low card limits or insufficient revolving history alone do not mean the Applicant has negative credit items to repair. Building credit history may improve future card-funding options. A genuine credit-repair issue can still appear separately when the report supports it.

Older saved results with an explicit **credit repair not recommended** flag and a card decline only for limits or history no longer show the generic credit-repair referral incorrectly attached to those results. This display correction does not change the saved underwriting decision or require a new credit pull.

## Term Loan Qualified

When the term-loan evaluation qualifies the file, **Term Loan Qualified** shows its estimated funding range. Final offers remain subject to lender review; an estimate is not a guaranteed offer.

If the qualification requires inquiry removal, the recommendation states that prerequisite. Complete it before proceeding. Recommendations follow the selected report's effective term-loan decision, including operator overrides.

Review the term-loan workflow, prepare income documentation, and compare rates, fees, terms, and payments before accepting an offer. See [Term Loan Offers](/operators/funding/term-loan-offers.md) for the offer process.

Card credit-building or repair guidance does not hide a qualified term-loan recommendation. When both appear, the card guidance identifies the card-funding issue while the term-loan path remains available. Coordinate credit building with the processing team after the term-loan review.
