On a funding plan, each card row has an Apply link. With the Tracked card applications Labs card on, Apply opens CardRatings with that card listed first, and the link carries a reference to the funding plan row it came from. The card’s issuer and the application are the same; only the page you start on changes.
This is a Labs feature. It is visible to every account and off by default. Turn it on under Settings → Labs, or ask your agency admin to turn it on for you.

What changes when the card is on

  • Apply on a funding plan row opens CardRatings with the row’s card at the top of the list. Choose Apply Now on that card to reach the issuer’s application.
  • Download on a funding plan writes the same tracked link in the Application Link column, so a plan you send your client points to the same place.
  • Cards CardRatings does not offer keep their usual application link. Nothing changes for them.
Apply the card shown first. Applying for a different card on the CardRatings page is not counted toward the plan row you started from. The link includes the funding plan row’s reference and your account’s reference so an application can be matched back to the row it came from. It carries no client name, email, phone, or other personal details.

Statuses that update on their own

About once an hour, the card applications and approvals reported back for tracked links move matching card rows forward:
  • An application moves a row with no status, or Not Started, to Pending.
  • An approval moves a row with no status, Not Started, or Pending to Approved.
A row someone already set to Approved or Declined is never changed, and nothing is ever marked Declined automatically: no approval reported is not a decline. Approvals can arrive days after the application. A row updated this way says Updated from the card report with the date in its details, until someone changes its status. Rows created by the 7 Figures processing team, rows whose card has been changed since the link was opened, and accounts with the Labs card off are not updated.

Turning it off

Turn the Labs card off to go back to each card’s own application link and to stop automatic status updates. Links already sent or downloaded keep working; they still open CardRatings with the card listed first.
