When enabled for your account, Verify your identity appears at the beginning of Onboarding & Setup → Get connected. The step shows This must be completed by [name] using the Operations contact linked to your SaaS subscription. When automatic linking is enabled, the account connection is prepared during setup refresh without a separate cardholder-name form. That person must complete verification. Compliance reviews card ownership separately. If the displayed name is incorrect, contact your onboarding team before continuing. Sales/compliance checks the signed agreement separately; you do not need to upload or link it in this step.
  1. Choose Start verification, then Continue to Stripe.
  2. In the secure Stripe tab, capture your photo ID and complete the selfie check.
  3. Return to the original CRM tab and choose Check status.
Stripe checks can take time. You can continue other setup while the result is processing. Returning from Stripe does not by itself complete the step. A successful check with a matching legal name automatically completes KYC after the CRM record is updated. First name and surname must match; middle names may differ or be omitted from your Operations record without manual review. If Stripe requests another attempt, choose Resume verification from the same signed-in account that started it. If the name does not match, information is missing, or verification is canceled, your onboarding team will help. Do not submit another person’s ID or repeat the check from another teammate’s account. If an update was interrupted, the message shows how long recovery may take. Wait that long, then select Check status. If the message asks your team to recover an earlier request, contact them instead of starting another verification. You can continue the other setup steps while they help. Your team can reopen verification to correct the contact or subscription cardholder evidence. If your team changes the verification process, they can still reopen your earlier attempt. An interrupted reopening stays incomplete; Check status retries it. An already verified CRM record can be preserved by your team without another Stripe check. Identity documents and selfies remain with Stripe; this workspace shows verification progress. This step follows your CRM verification record. If your team records your verification in the CRM, Check status shows the step as complete. If your team is reviewing a completed verification, the step shows Your team is reviewing your identity verification. See Onboarding & Setup for the other setup steps.
