Sandbar Fund places larger business files: it shops each deal across its lender network. With the Sandbar Fund business funding Labs card turned on, the term-loan Submit dialog gains one extra choice: send the application to the offer marketplace as usual, or send it to Sandbar Fund instead.
This is a Labs feature. It is visible to every account and off by default. Turn it on under Settings → Labs, or ask your agency admin to turn it on for you.
Not connected yet. The connection to Sandbar Fund is still being set up with Sandbar. Until it is ready, turning the card on changes nothing: Sandbar Fund does not appear under Send To. To send a file to Sandbar today, use the Submit to Partner step of the Revenue Based workflow and Sandbar’s own portal. When the connection opens, it goes to Sandbar’s test environment first, and nothing sent there is funded.

What changes when the card is on

Open a client, choose Generate Offers, and fill in the application as you always have. Under Submission Method, choose the Loan Type:
  • Personal — a personal term loan. The application goes to the offer marketplace, as it does with the card off, and Sandbar Fund is not offered.
  • Business — a business loan. A Send To choice appears with Sandbar Fund in it.
Sandbar Fund works with businesses only, so it appears only for a Business loan. With a Business loan, Send To offers:
  • Offer marketplace — today’s flow. Personal term-loan offers come back and you share them with your client.
  • Sandbar Fund — sends the application to Sandbar, which shops it to the lenders it works with. You do not pick a product. Nothing is sent to the marketplace.
If another business lender’s card is also on, it appears in the same list. Pick one. Each Submit goes to exactly one destination. Sandbar Fund is offered only when you submit the application yourself, not with a send-to-client link.

What Sandbar Fund receives

This is the first version of the connection. Sandbar has not yet confirmed every detail it needs, so this list may grow before the connection opens.
  • The owner’s name, email, and phone number from the form. The marketplace’s personal-loan questions (loan purpose, income, credit rating, employment, housing) are not asked for Sandbar Fund and nothing from them is sent.
  • From the client’s CRM record: Business Name and, when every part of it is filled in, the Business Address. Choosing Sandbar Fund adds a Business details section to the form with the client’s business details; for now this app sends only Business Name and Business Address from it. What you fill in or change there is saved back to the record when you submit.
  • The newest bank statements in the client’s Documents, up to four. Sandbar asks for the last four months.
Before sending, this app checks for a business name, the owner’s first and last name, email, and phone number, and at least one bank statement of 10MB or less. If anything is missing, Submit stops with a message listing what to add, and nothing is sent until you fix it and try again. Sandbar can still reject an application for its own reasons; the message then says what Sandbar said.

After you submit

The client page shows Application sent to Sandbar Fund with Sandbar’s lead number. Application history labels the attempt Sent to Sandbar Fund instead of showing it as a zero-offer marketplace attempt. Sandbar works the file from there; its offers and status updates do not flow back into this app yet. The Generate Offers button stays available if you also want marketplace offers for the same client.

If something goes wrong

The Submit dialog shows the reason in place.
  • “Sandbar Fund is not turned on for this account” — turn on the Labs card and try again.
  • “Sandbar Fund is not set up for this account yet” — the connection is not ready. Turn the Labs card off to keep generating marketplace offers, and use Sandbar’s portal for now.
  • “Sandbar Fund needs the following…” — add the listed details to the client’s CRM record and resubmit.
  • “Sandbar Fund requires at least one bank statement…” — upload the last four months of business bank statements to the client’s CRM record and resubmit.
  • “…larger than 10MB…” — replace that statement with a smaller copy and resubmit.
  • “Sandbar Fund did not accept this application…” — Sandbar rejected a value and the message says which. No lead was created, so fix it and submit again.
  • “Sandbar Fund already has a lead for this client” — work that lead with Sandbar instead of submitting again.
  • “Sandbar Fund created lead …, but … did not finish” — the lead exists on Sandbar’s side, but not every bank statement reached it. Do not submit again: that opens a second lead. Contact Sandbar with the lead number shown to finish it.
  • “It is not known whether Sandbar Fund received this application” — Sandbar did not answer clearly, so a lead may exist. Check with Sandbar before you submit again.
  • “Sandbar Fund received this application as lead …, but the result could not be saved here” — Sandbar has the lead; only this app’s record of it failed. Do not submit again: that opens a second lead. Contact Sandbar with the lead number shown, and contact support.
After any other failure the message does not mention a lead, and Sandbar did not create one, so you can fix the problem and submit again; that creates a new attempt.
